is post-doc researcher at the Danish Institute for International Studies (DIIS). He is a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Human Rights and the Holocaust Studies: A Journal of Culture and History. The Ph.D. in philosophy he received from the Danish University of Education. He was a Guest lecturer at The European Inter-University Centre for Human Rights and Democratization as well as at the Arizona State University and at Aarhus University on The role of Resentment in Conflicts after Mass Atrocities. His publications include Efter folkedrab: En flerfaglig undervisningsbok (After Genocide: A multidisciplinary Educational Resource, 2007), Journal of Human Rights: Special issue on the Importance of “Negative” Emotions in Post-Conflict Societies, (2006, co-edited with Thomas Cushman); Vendepunkter mellem konflikt og forsoning – En filosofisk kritik” [Turningpoints between conflict and reconciliation: A Philosophical Critique] (Odense 2007); Revisiting Resentments: Jean Améry and the Dark Side of Forgiveness and Reconciliation (2006).
