Barbara Hallensleben (CHE)

is Professor for dogmatic theology at the Faculty of Theology at the University of Fribourg. She is a member of the Institute for ecumenical studies. Also, she is President of the Department for Studies of Faith and Religions and Philosophy and vice-director of the interfacultary Institute for East and Middle Europe. She is also a member of the International Commission of Theology and consultant of the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity and observer at the European Bishop’s Conference in the commission Churches in Dialogue of the Conference of European Churches.
